Small Business Saturday

Today is, November 24, 2012. I am not sure when the term "Small Business Saturday" came into existence, but I am not mad that it did. I started making jewelry back in March of 2011. I started selling it soon afterwards. My first projects included making as many memory wire bracelets as I could with a variety of colors and center stones made out of glass. I was selling those faster than I could make them. From the one class I took at Michael's to learn to make those, I started creating hoop earrings in a variety of sizes. I was hooked them. Bracelets to hoops! I was rolling. I needed to do something different so I went to YouTube and watched wire wrapping. I bought all color heavy gauge wires and started wrapping the mega amounts of glass stones that I had. that was fun and creative. I called that my Lifesavers collection. The stones were round, oblong square and came in a variety of colors. My current projects include making dangle earrings and stretch bracelets. My bed collection has increased and every time I vacuum, I devour a small collection of beads that have embedded themselves in the carpet. Oh well.
So, I have created this blog to keep everyone updated on what I am doing and hopefully to keep you abreast on some of the new creations I have made.
Thanks for checking me out.I will get some pics posted as soon as I can.
I do sell these items and accept Pay Pal. I also have a Squared account so I can take your credit card and cash if you want to stop by to purchase.
My Christmas Jewelry show open house will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 12:30-6pm.
Hope to see you,
Donna "DCBoogie" Cager
